The company
4Racing Proprietary Limited (Registration No. 2020/099054/07) is the licensed totalisator operator for the South African horseracing industry. 4Racing was incorporated in 2020 and now holds the operator licences for tote betting and the supporting digital platforms across multiple South African provinces.
TAB is the consumer brand. 4Racing is the operating company. Every bet placed on TAB is a bet with 4Racing, settled under the rules of the South African Gambling Boards.
